Great news, our NWO project entitled “The way forward: circulating tumor DNA and radiomics to improve personalized care for esophageal cancer patients “ has been approved by NWO. The main hypothesis is that the combined analysis of ctDNA, quantitative PET-CT parameters and 3D textural analysis of both CT and PET can improve outcome prediction of patients with resectable esophageal cancer and may therefore aid in the prevention of over- as well as undertreatment of patients.

It is a collaboration between Amsterdam UMC, Leiden LUMC, the Research Department of IKNL and the Dpt of Precision Medicine of GROW-MUMC+
